When you eat sunflower seeds. Can you stop before your lips get all puckered ?

What? Never noticed that at all. Mostly I use them in cooking.

I will guess that you've always bought them pre-shelled. Many of us like to break them open with our teeth and spit out the shells. They are addictive and after a while the salt will make your lips pucker.
