  • Mine does. It's Murgatroyd the Magpie.
    • Ice man
And a fine specimen it is at that. Thanks: )
    • Murgatroyd
Thank you, Ice man. May I introduce you to my signature tune? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbYcdR3Ldfc
    • Ice man
Thank you. Hmmm Interesting bit of history in the comments - Spencer Davis Group under another name. There was a lot of that going on to get around contracts back then.
    • Murgatroyd
There was also a lot of changing in bands' line-ups and sounds going on at the time. The Spencer Davis Group were a prime example. They only sounded like the Spencer Davis Group while Steve Winwood was in the band. Once he left, SDG went on to sound like Manfred Mann. Why do you think that is, Ice man?
    • Ice man
I'm a bit late and have to run, but I'll take a quick guess and say because of further changes in the line up. I gotta go but I'll check back late tonight.
  • No question but for some of us not so important that we want to spend a lot of time thinking about that and picking one out etc. Mine currently is same as on the former AB and is a detail from a bank circular. Me about the way I looked twenty years ago. The way I wish I still looked.
    • Ice man
Mine is my original one from the old AB as well. I'm sure you're as radiant as you ever were, remember it's what's inside that counts. ; )
    • Murgatroyd
Incidentally, Ice man, what is inside that truck of yours? Lol:)
    • officegirl
Murgatroy: I would think ice! Ice man: haha I wish.
    • Ice man
That's one big block of ice on my trailer. : )
  • I agree 100%.
    • Ice man
Thanks for your long winded answer. Just kidding lol : )
    • Azlotto
      Lol...Sometimes I just can't quit.
    • Murgatroyd
      Lol:)
  • Mine is me from when I first joined , I change them up sometimes , but normally come back to this one ..
    • Pattijo
When I first joined tons of years ago I meant to say , about 6 months Answerbag first opened

I like yours. Mine goes back to the golden age of AB as well. Our avatars are a reflection of ourselves in some way, and make it much easier for our friends to spot us in a crowd of "smiley bags". Thanks : )
  • I've rejoined with my first avatar, which was maliciously removed by a certain moderator who had tu faces. If it gets removed again we'll all know that guy is still here, won't we?
    • Ice man
Okay [takes loaded shotgun in hand] we'll have to keep an eye open [eyes darting from side to side] for a Tu-faced malicious moderator. But seriously KC, I'm pretty sure he went down in flames along with the "old bag".
    • Bootsiebaby
Moderator with tu faces? Now I wonder who that was? Lol:)
  • I change my avatar now and then, but only to another pair of platform boots. They still make me stand out as an individual, as I am sure you agree. Lol:)
    • Ice man
Yes I agree, you prove my point perfectly. Thanks
  • Yes. It helps so much to pick people out amongst all the smiley faces. I think it would be much better if everyone had an avatar.
    • Ice man
You're right on the money. Well said. Thanks ; )
  • I agree. I swear, I would like to slap that face off of that dough-boy bag. I really do hate the logo here. 12/15
    • Ice man
I know how you feel. At first I didn't mind it but now I wish they'd find a better logo.
  • I haven't noticed a lot of difference.
  • YES ! I agree especially with the description part of your Q.
