  • Some sites are heavily dependent on the ads for their revenue. Rather than ask you to pay for the site, they cover their costs by selling advertising space.The people who buy that space want to insure that their ads are being seen so they can make their money too. Some of these buyers insist on a lock-out of anybody trying to use the site when they detect the use of adblockers. I hate being overrun with advertising and run two blockers all the time. When I come across one of these sites I just look around for another site that isn't hostile to adblockers.

  • They want to redirect your signal so companies get free info. Try different adblockers also.Some like mine block everything.
