The NAD 910 is a multichannel preamp / processor that requires a separate amplification. I would first suggest matching it to NAD power amplifier(s), because of the potential for synergy among the system components. The 910 is an older product and you may find that one or more second-hand NAD amplifiers work well with it. Talk to your local NAD dealer for suggestions. Rotel also makes amplifiers in the same price range and performance level. As an upgrade, you would be hard to beat Bryston for price / performance.

I have one which came as part of a deal with a 902 power amp. I use the power amp in my 5.1 setup (it powers the subwoofer - very well!) but a lack of time and a manual has prevented me from really looking into the 910. It may well be redundant in my case as the main system is powered by a Kenwood KRF-V5050. However, when I get the chance i plan to use the 910 as an 'outboard processor' for my DAW setup. The 910 is too well made to just ignore or ditch in my own case.
