I've never seen one with an external microphone, but most camera's should have an external microphone jack. If your searching for a camera just find out if it has a microphone input or not. If your interviewing, depending on the video, you best options are - a shotgun mic mounted on the camera (it captures only what its pointed at) - a lapel mic (usually wireless) that you can clip to your interviewee's shirt - a regular hand held microphone for both you and your interviewee to talk in to.

Most consumer video cameras do not have a mic jack. Semi-pro and pro cameras do. If you cannot afford a higher end camera, use a tight shot in your interview so that it is close enough to pick up the audio from the voice. The farther away you are, the more ambient noise you will hear.
