  • Legally? The date that you started and the day that you left, and if you are eligible for rehire. Now, what they say "off record" could be different, and hard to prove that they didn't. Good luck!
  • they can verify when and if you worked for them and they can say whether or not they would hire you again. my old boss (near houston) would have me call places applicants had worked and ask more detailed questions since i wasn't the employer.
  • they can ask your employment dates and would they rehire you
  • I recommend that you give the human resource manager or hr department instead of your direct supervisor they are legaly allowed to give your hire date term date and wage history only
