Well... in the music industry it's almost never the rappers/singers/etc. who are in charge. It's their producers. The real leaders of the black community are behind the curtains.

They all seem to be very popular. It seems people such as 50 Cent, Barack Obama and Al Sharpton are all vastly more popular than people like Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell and Alan Keyes. I find this very troubling.

Nobody if you ask me. Maybe Obama since he has rose to his statues but most inner city blacks believe they can lead themselves so I guess we all are own leaders even though I disagree when people say that but perception beats reality.
