In my case, my pet gives up very quickly. So, my answer would be myself. And if you add that to the fact that my pet barks at everything that goes past our driveway on the main road, I can still say that is is me, who would win the staring contest.
-
If it's the cat, I'll lose every time! That cat looks right through me. If it's the dog, all I have to do is pretend to throw something. +5

Me; if I look at her when she's staring at me, she turns her head away.
-
My cat, if her attention span was long enough. She can bore holes right through me when she wants to, but thankfully it usually doesn't last too long!
-
If it was one of my cats, they'd win. But my dog will turn away if you stare at her.
-
Cats hands down!
-
Me. My dog's old and easily bored. I still love 'er though.
-
The Dog.
-
The lizard would win.
-
Dogs can easily be stared down. Cats not so much but, if you hold out, they will quit.
-
One of my Dogs would. That dog can stare at me forever! I just have to figure out what it is he wants. Food, water, to go outside, a blanket for his bed, or to play. It goes on all day long! Sometimes I just let him to see how long he will last but that doesnt last to long cause it "Drives Me Crazy!" And of course he knows it. lol

-

-
Me, cause my dog shows submissive behavior by doing things such as making himself appear smaller or moving away when I look at him.
