• Sure. Steak diane: Marinade the steaks with garlic and soya sauce. Pan fry the steaks in a little butter to your liking, remove the steaks from the pan and set aside. Return pan with the juices to the stove and add some cream to the pan and stir gently until it thickens (use a little bit of corn flour if necessary). Return the steaks to the sauce until heated through. Pull the steaks out with tongues onto serving plates. Top up with sauce.
  • Beef stroganoff. There are plenty of recipes on line (uses sour cream) but for the beef I would use a very tender cut like rib eye (expensive) or something like chuck roast (not expensive). For the chuck roast bake it covered with liquid for a couple hours before hand to get it really tender. Put it over wide noodles cooked pretty tender (not too al dente). Add a salad and your done.
  • Antipasto, leek cream soup, icebein mit cartoffen, lotsa beer, a small dessert!
  • Broiled Salmon that melts in your mouth and asparagus, or brussel sprouts.
