  • You are forced to take a certain course with no deviations. A course that is not of your choice. Like A train on a track.
  • When you're being forced to agree/ acquiesce to something you are actually opposed
  • to be railroaded is to be confronted by someone with extreme force and sometimes by suprise and left feeling powerless.
  • Would that term have originated back when the 'railroad barons' forced people off their land in order to build their railroads, to better accumulate more wealth for themselves?
