HELL YES.money is money.
-
Yes I do. In this economy even making a little bit is better than making nothing.
-
Depends... can you somehow live with not having a job? If yes.. than you can wait and take a job you might actually like.. If not, yes, any job is better than no job and starving.
-
Working for an abusive boss is not good for ones health
-
Yes.
-
it is good only if your not getting paid under the table... if its under the table... then no id rather not have a job...
-
ABsolutely.
-
Yes. Absolutely.
-
no job is beneath you
-
No. There are some very hostile workplace environments that will make you sick and insane. I ended up walking off from three in my 44 years and I would rather be unemployed than tortured daily.
-
depends...im jobless now though..and there are some nasty jobs(not good nasty)...
-
depends on the job human guinea pig is a real occupation that I don't want
-
Depends on the job and how bad it (finances and the job) gets.

I don't know, the simplest lives are the happiest.
-
Yes..some money is better than no money. :)
-
Yes, Definitely, money is money.+5
-
Of course. I'm in college and I just got hired to work just 16 hours. It's better than being totally broke, plus I can study during work.
-
If it is honest and legal definitely yes. No job is "beneath" you when you have a family to feed. All honest work is honorable. Being "picky" is being self-centered in my opinion. :)
-
That's ALMOST as good as asking, "Is it better to eat than NOT eat?" !
-
YES...it says more about a person than his being idle and doing nothing for his situation.....at least do what you can while seeking a better job....
-
as long as i keep searching for a better job while in "any job". life is hard you know.

No. I think Americans have valorised the idea of productivity at any cost: to be productive (read - to make money) is seen as the highest human good. Americans could work HALF as much as they do and enjoy the same quality of life their parents enjoyed in the 50s and 60s. The environment would benefit and there would be more family time. We are using up the world's resources and making ourselves miserable and sick. Some jobs are not worth it, period.

i am of opinion that our future should be bigger than our past.one should grow for right reasons.one should give due importance to sense of entitlement.if possible, one must take right job not any job.
-
No I don't... BUT... All too often "It's not the job for me" is nothing more than an excuse to sit on the couch, with beer in hand, collecting Welfare. It doesn't help that Welfare pays better than a lot of menial jobs. So... while I don't think that a person should work at a job to which they are not suited, I'm not sure I'd let them decide their own suitability. Hope this helps.

Depends upon financial status, now a days I'm really broken, can't find a job, no home, would even request for loan to pay my daughter's tuition and hostel fee. It will be better to call myself a total looser but I wonder why I've not yet lost hope completely.
-
yes. find a low pay job while looking for a better pay job. you can get more experience too.

This is not an idea I can buy into completely. I realize we all need an income to survive in this world, and for many people jobs are the only practical resource for making money. I guess, if you're truly all alone in the world and it's a matter of genuine survival, than taking a crummy job may be necessary. But still, keeping a job which abuses you, either emotionally, physically or financially for more than a few months is just not healthy for you or your family.
