Help! I swallowed a small piece of packing tape! Is this harmful or poisonous? I think it was about the size of a fingernail. The clear plastic packaging tape :(

My guess is you will survive this just fine. But eat something else next time.

You should be fine, the mucus will slime it up and keep it from sticking. Eventually you'll just poop it out. Though I suggest you be careful with what you put in tyour mouth. ie: NEVER swallow magnets. If you swallow more than one they could be attracted to each other in your intestine, stick together and cause a blockage.
