My vehicle is a bicycle. I don't think this micro-jet (or more properly, micro-turbine, since it is a torque engine rather than a thrust engine) would help it much. But heck, if it's cheap enough I might give it a try.

Yes, I think there should be more hybrid/range extender cars with micro turbines because they are lighter and twice as efficient as conventional gas engines and can be made to burn almost any liquid fuel. As primary engines, however, it is difficult to modulate their speed: like a turbocharger, they are most effective at full speed.
