No I wouldn't mind loving near wind power turbines. We all have to embrace "green" thinking....

Not if there were just one or two. Would love to have our own and have looked into it. We knew a farm that had two of them to run things and it was great! We live in an area that is always windy so it would come in handy. Better than power lines running all over and brownouts in the summertime.

I wouldn't mind loving next to a wind turbine. But I sure as heck would mind living next to one. I'd rather live next to a silent and motionless nuclear power plant.

Loving--no; living--yes. It devalues your land and there are studies that have suggested they cause migraines and other health issues.

No, we live near a wind farm, in fact it is visible from the bedroom window. You cannot hear the turbines at all unless you are literally within 100 yards of them - and then they only make a gentle swooshing noise which, given that they are on the moors where the wind is strong, pales into insignificance compared with the roar of the wind in your ears. A lot of people were hostile at first but it got built three years ago. I actually like the appearance of it, it is a local landmark. It has become popular with tourists. People are used to the way it looks now and admit it is not unattractive.

I WOULD'NT MIND IF THEY WERE USED TO DELETE HURRICANES OUT AT SEA, BUT IF THERE'S A NOISE PROBLEM. I SUGGEST YOU GET WITH THE HEALTH DEPT FOR A POSSIBLE CERTAIN DECIBEL (NOISE PROBLEM).
