  • It sounds like you're actually trying to accomplish two simultaneous goals that are two entirely different physical manifestations. As I understand it, a Jacob's Ladder spark is a DC (direct current, or one-way) electrical current. While RF transmissions are normally invisible, they can manifest as a visible spark, but they are AC (alternating current, or two-way) electrical current. The circumstances that allow RF to show as a visible spark are very specific (arc welding is an example). I do not know of any way to make a Jacob's Ladder, which has its own very specific properties (the spark continues on its own up the ladder, generating higher resistance and thus heat as it goes), use an AC current.
