  • It's not that it wouldn't grab the haircolor it's that you have probably colored more than once and the color won't show up or look real good. After a while of coloring the color builds up and looks dull and muttled. Or the color you picked is a lighter color than the color you got the last time and technically color doesn't remove color so you wouldn't have been able to see the color you picked. If you are going to a good salon chances are that they were doing the right thing for you considering that the more chemicals they put on your hair the more fragile it becomes. No intelligent salon would purposely try to damage your hair and if they did you can file a claim against them. Stylists can also be turned into the state board of barbers and hairdressers if they do screw up on your hair. Again my assumption would be that the procedure was needed.
