  • when i am aware of it i do.
  • Yes I report animal abuse.
  • I've only witnessed it once...and that was one of my friends dad when he kicked his dog in the stomach. i think the dog ran off for a couple hours or something...but I was too young to do anything about...but if i saw anything bad now, i would most likely report it
  • I sure do if I see it and know it is true abuse.
  • If I saw it, yes I would immediately
  • I haven't ever seen animal abuse, but I would not hesitate to report it.
  • Fortunately I haven't had to, but I definitely would if I knew of an animal being abused.
  • I would if i saw it i cant stand it.
  • Absolutely, no question.
  • I report animal abuse as soon as I see it going on. I would never hesitate to report it, it is inhumane and so disturbing to me, anyone who can actually abuse a helpless animal seriously has horrible issues that need to be resolved...and fast. Animal abuse is horrific, so YES I WOULD REPORT IT!!!
  • If not, it's only because of the vigilante killing I perpetrated instead.
  • Absolutely. I wrote to the OSPCA about a nasty situtation that I encountered and complained..2 months later I got a letter back saying that the place had been shut down due to my complaint! I would do it again in a hearbeat! Oh btw I am vegan
  • Yes, not only report it, I investigate it and make arrests.
  • yes i do.
  • I have never seen an animal be abused, but if I ever did, I most certainly would report it without one ounce of hesitation.
  • I report anything that bothers me if I think it stands even the possibility of helping or solving the problem.
  • yes i do & if possible I will take them out of the abusive or neglectful home & give them to someone that will give them a loving home & take good care of them. I live around alot of renter homes & had to bear witness to someone being cruel & starving their animals & locking them up in a home alone for a month & animal control done nothing but we couldn't break into the home because if we wouldve got caught she would've sued us for breaking in. Animal control told us they could do nothing unless we could prove she had been gone for 30 or more days also the skank had 6 pending lawsuits against different people thats why we were afraid to break in even if it was for the best of the animals. After that I swore I'd never see another animal be neglected or mistreated. I don't hesitate a second to call before it gets that bad.
  • I have reported animal abuse twice and will do it over and over again whenever I see it.
  • yes, broke into a car bacause some bitch left her dog in the car windows up, sunny 80 degree day. She walked up, asked me what I had done and I told her. I also called police and informed then of the problem, they rolled up and arrested her for animal cruelty. Dog was removed from her care and placed in a dog foster home after being treated for dehydration.
  • Definatley. Some people can't even take care of themselves, why those types of people have pets is beyond me.
  • No. I observe, i take film or if unable then photos then I report. I also intervene and take animals from their owners if I see them hurting their pets. It sounds quite drastic but an animal can't answer back and I've heard too many people that hurt their pets say that they didn't do it and due to lack of actual evidence they get away with it so that's why I record evidence wherever possible.
  • In my younger years I would, um, "liberate" abused animals from their owners. Then as I got older and wiser I realized it was just as important to keep the abusers from hurting other animals in the future, so I went with reporting. But the liberating was a lot more fun...
  • Yes, somebody has to speak for them
  • I haven't seen any to report yet....but I did see animal abuse I'd call the RSPCA or something like that.
  • Definately, This is a very sore subject with me. I am in the military and in two tours to iraq i have witnessed atrocities of other soldiers killing animals for fun, so i reported it and it did nothing. Then i took it a step higher and went over everyones head and took it to the Humane Society and PETA and then they contacted the Sergeant Major of the Army then the *&^% rolled downhill. In closing animals are always loyal and always loving and will protect and love you no matter what so i say report it when you see it and always support stiffer animal cruelty punishments for offenders in your states thank you!
  • You MUST report ANY form of abuse. I mean, come on, mind your own business, but, animal abuse is on of the most overlooked forms abuse. Cops are crackin down on domestic violence (at least they are in MI) and I give a high five to Animal Planet for exposing animal neglect and cruelty on a daily basis. My conclusion: If you are genuinly worried about someone's pet, you shoud confront that person, politely and in person, and express your concern. Should that fail, call your local Humane Society or Animal Control and file a report. In large cities, results may take time and rest assured that the pet's owner will be given the chance to improve the pet's environment before any legal action is engaged. Help the animals!! Report Animal Abuse!!
  • i haven't seen it, but i would report it if i did!
  • ive reported animal abuse so much in my city that i know all the Humane Society Agents very closely and talk to them on a daily basis...when im 21 im going to go through training to be an Animal Cruelty Agent...Anne Marie Lucas is one of my heros (from the show Animal Precinct) and im going to New York pretty soon to the ASPCA to meet all the agents... My final high school assignment was on Animal Cruelty and i recieved an A+ I love animals with all my heart and i will do ANYTHING for them...
  • I will make a citizen arrest on anybody who is hurting an animal.I am an animal lover.
  • Yes I would.
  • yes animals are not a pice of trash they have feelings to and they need to be treated they way we would like to be treated cause they same God that created us created them
  • If i see it I will report it,because no animal should be abused like that.
  • If i see it I will report it,because no animal should be abused like that.
  • I have reported it. Working around horses you see all kind sof stuff go on. From horses not being feed to inhuman training pratices. If it was a horse on private property I'd call directly. And if it was a boarding or training facility I went to the owner. That way if the ASPC showed up it was at their invitation and they wouldn't get in trouble for someone else actions. And I did turn in a boarding stable once. Turns out she had had multiple infrations. She just would transfer the property to another person and kept it satus quo. We need to have more officers and better laws. The ones we have do have no teeth.
  • Yes I am an animal lover and if I saw any animal being abused I would either report it or take matters into my own hands.
  • Ive never come across animal abuse. But if i did then i'd definatly report it. Why should the sick people harming animals get away with it?
  • I don't just report it, I reciprocate. >: )
  • We love our animals to much in the country. If I seen it I would report most certainly..
  • As soon as I could look up the proper phone number from the time I first noticed it. Hopefully only minutes would pass. Animals count too.
  • Interesting question.. especially considering that we nearly all support animal abuse in some form or another. There are so many people that call themselves animal lovers, and yet don't think twice about eating pretty much any one of them, excepting perhaps the kittens and puppies, because they are sooo cute.. You may kid yourself that the farm animal industry doesn't "abuse animals", but examine the facts, watch "Earthlings", read up on the industry, and you will learn that 99% of you reading this and commenting here, are supporters of the animal abuse industry.. No, I wouldn't report animal abuse if I saw it, because I know that the people that would step in to help are mostly hypocrites and animal abusers themselves.. The real victim animals here, are all the ones imprisoned and tortured to satisfy food addiction. What are you prepared to do about that? regards, Mango the Vegan Fruitarian
  • No, but I have a next door neighbor that likes reporting me for abuse every time my dog is out in the rain releiving himself. Hey, it's Oregon, rains most of the time. She also reports me for my dog eating his own feces. He's a Lab and characteristic of the breed. Then I have her report me for leaving my poor cattle out in the rain. What a headache. Proves people from the city should remain there and not inflict stupidity on people with farming experience.
  • I would definutly report it, no doubt.
  • I would report it right then and there
  • O YEA!! OF COURSE!
  • Yes, I would very much report animal abuse. No, if and buts about it...
