  • Herpes is not part of a normal std workup. They normally test the blood for HIV and sometimes Hepatitis, but if you want to be tested for herpes you have to have a specific herpes blood test which is not standard, you have to request it. Otherwise they wouldn't notice herpes if it was present, no.
