maybe your day was projecting his preferences onto all men..as for me I like petite but I'm not much on blondes (no offense blonde ladies of the world)...I prefer petite asian ladies with dark hair.

No, i disagree. Sure men do like that, but we also like a wide range of girls. It all about personal preference, so don't get yourself down if you don't fit his category.

Negative! That's probably a stereotype from your fathers pov(point of view). We all have our preferences. Some people like the "thicker" brunettes, or the redhead, lankies. It's all based on what they've grown to view as "cute" or attractive.

I like a woman with some curves, and brunettes are the way to go. I look at small petite girls and think I'm going to break her if I roll on her, not to say I wouldn't go out with one (I have in the past) but it's also not about looks, I have preferences but her eyes may get me or she talks to me and I can hold a conversation with her and looks are secondary, I have been with all shapes and sizes of girls, but only one blonde in all that time. I also like long hair on a girl, but we all have different ideas :)

Men are nice. They love it when they can feel special, by knowing someone thinks they are wonderful, by making a woman (especially a pretty woman) feel happy/impressed/grateful/pleased. This isn't about sex or compatibility or anything adult. Its just that natural blonde hair is most often on babies, who trigger something in all of us to be extra kind and to look after them, and a woman being petite (tiny, delicate) triggers those same impulses. Because men have this drive to be smiled at like heroes, petite blonde women give off two very powerful signals that suggest they 'need' looking after and will be extra pleased with the men for 'rescuing them'. So many guys try harder. I know that sounds unfair (it is) and sounds like men can be manipulated, but its the same the other way round.. taller men with deeper voices have a career advantage over others with the same ability.

I prefer brunettes but depending on the combination of characteristics I like petite blonds also. Still, long brown or black hair is a key attractor.

No, although that describes my ex g/f. The ex wife was/is a petite brunette. I've often wondered what it would be like to be with a tall woman with long legs too. Bottom line, I'll take anything if they are somewhat attractive, intelligent and fun to be with.

If that were true, there would be a lot more single ladies out there. You can't generalize men's preferences. Every guy's dream girl is different. :) If petite blondes were the only kind of girl out there that men wanted, then a majority of us would become cat women :S (and i don't like cats, so it better not be true!)

Maybe right about the "most" that he knows which I would guess is a small share of all the men there are. Even if it was correct in other words he just does not know and I for one would vote that he is mistaken.

Personality is far more important to me than hight or hair color, but my preference tends to be more toward an average to tall height, long dark hair and a good strong "I could kick your @$$ if I wanted to but I still look damn good in these heels" build. Also I LOVE mixes of almost any kind, especially native American and Asian. My wife fits that bill perfectly.
