  • It isn't a particular number. How mature are each of you? Are you thru with school? Do you have means to support a household? and finally,(but hopefully not least), do each of you love one another and do you each want to be married?
  • I pretty sure almost everyone on the planet wants the same things you just mentioned out of life
  • I was 19, my husband was 18 We have been married for 15 glorious years. We view marriage as a committment.
  • I was 18 and my husband was 20 when we got married. We have been together ever since! It hasn't always been a walk in the park, but what marriage is? I think that getting married young has helped us go through some of life's trials that we coudln't have made it through without each other. There's no specific age at which you can say a person is old enough to get married. Age isn't a number, it's maturity and everything else that goes into a person's personality. If you two have the same values, same goals, you've talked about marriage and life and it's something that you both want, then I dont see a reason why it's any different than if you were 50! Go for it and live the amazing life you both want!
  • i got married one week after turning 19....I've been happily married for 5 yrs now
  • 1 Cor 7:36 reads “if he is past the bloom of youth, then this is what should take place: Let him do what he wants; he does not sin. Let them marry”. The Bible councils us to wait until we are old enough understand the seriousness of marriage and capable of making a wise decision.
