  • He hasn't finished delivering it yet!
  • Yes, he is a very charismatic speaker.
  • no but im inspired by the media...they can do anything they want, even elect a president...
  • Man. Talk about jumping the gun. He's still delivering it!!!
  • not too much at all but i do hope he can do all he says he will or at least some or at least not make things worse please not worse :(
  • Yes . It is a big day in our country.
  • i wish i was watching it as i am at work now :(
  • It marks the beginning of a sea change in American politics that will still be effecting people decades from now.
  • No. I won't be filled with hope till I see him put his money where his mouth is
  • all such speeches sound inspirational & hopeful. but I don't base my opinion of the new Administration on today but on all the days since November. Obama is very confident, but I think it's a genuine confidence, it comes from all the people who have supported him, back before he was even famous. as it should be. I think for this reason he is both confident and humble, because he always acknowledges his connection to others.
  • Nothing. I didn't hear it. However, I'm sure he didn't anything that, like a good politician, he can't take back, break, change or ignore
  • Very much so. I know that great change can't happen quickly, but I'm hopeful of the changes for the better to come.
  • I may be, if I ever bother to listen to it.
  • Inspirational
  • too long
  • what speech? where?
  • He messed it up when he was swon in
  • I did not like how he kept talking about other countries! He is the President of the United States of America NOT the world!
  • I was inspired that he recognizes all the problems he has to face in office and tells us we are all in it together. It is true. We are interdependent. If we don't get busy, we will all fall. It was a call to everyone, no matter who you are, you are part of the work before us. I listed 18 things from the top of my head, just thinking about what he faces with us.
  • He said nothing but BS.
  • No, just rhetoric.
  • dont think america liked him saying they gotta reign in
  • Very moving speech. But I've come to expect no less from him.
  • It was refreshing to see an adult who can speak in full sentences and speak about something other than "Be afraid!" and "America is number 1! Rah! Rah! Rah!" give an inaugural speech. . . .
  • President Obama’s speech was masterful and brilliant. He has reaffirmed the greatness of our nations resolve and inspired a country that needs a glimpse of hope. His fearless courage to tackle the daunting problems of this nation has renewed my determination to see the possibilities of the future. God Bless America, God Bless President Barack Obama!
  • Yes. I'd like to share my theory about President Obama. I believe that from a very early age, he found a way to get people to support his efforts. Many people who need support as much or more than he did were not able to arrive at that ability. By coming through on the hope people have invested in him, he has arrived now at the Presidency. He is asking us now to believe in our own better history and our own better selves, he is asking us to replant ourselves in the soil of truth and decency. He is offering us our chance to rise.
  • Hope, change, hope, change, the first thing you will notice is that nothing will change, the president doesn't have much power as the hope, change crowd seems to think,it's congress that has the real power to change things and that ain't good since they are the ones that has had the power the last two years.
  • I've been inspired by the whole day. It's been an enchanting one.
  • Have you ever listened to Martin Luther King's speeches? Or Kennedy's speeches? That should answer it...
  • No, doom and gloom does not inspire me.
  • Yes, I was. He is a great speaker, and I am hopeful things will turn around in America. He has a heavy load to carry, and I know he won't do a worse job than Bush!
  • I was in absolute awe. He spoke not only of America but included other nations in his speech. It is incredible to see the difference between Obama and Bush. Obama's speech was almost like poetry and well, we all know how well Bush is at public speaking. I am very happy to know that such a great man will be running our neighbouring country. It is also pretty amazing how widespread his support is. There are so many Canadians that have been following and supporting him!
  • The only part I liked was when he vowed to execute the office of president. I have a feeling that if everything goes just as he's been planning, then America will be a lot worse off, and less safe, by the end of his term. That is my opinion. How many Democrats does it take to change a lightbulb? One, but it gets really screwed. Why should you bury democrats 1000 feet underground? Because deep down they are really good people. Why did God make democrats? To make used car salesmen look good.
  • i don't think so! i have heard speeches from J.F.Kennedy to Bill Clinton non of them seem fake not a single bit Obama reads lots of books he might lifts from there, u know he want to be just like the legendary Martin Luther King who's speeches will never be forgotten he is a true leader and he got inspiration from the one and only Mahatma Gandhi where i belong and i feel proud that i am from that soil.
  • He made a speech ? oh give him a few months he will deny ever saying anything in any certain speech . you know how those government types are .
  • Not really.I have heard though give him a teleprompter, and a good speech. He can make almost anything sound good.
  • No way.
  • To be frank, nothing he does inspires me.
