  • YOu can only be extradited for criminal matters, not civil.
  • It's usually costly to extradite someone (over $100k at least in legal and admin costs) so it's typically only done for major crimes and high profile cases: i.e., if you're wanted for DUI, a few cases of petty-theft, or passing a few bad checks, no government's going to initiate extradition procedures. Of course, your host country might very well deny you a visa or deport you as an un-desirable.
