Except on pre-sweetened cereal, I would, but I'm diabetic. So I use Aspartame and Sweet-n-Low (mix).
-
I prefer putting brown sugar in mine, not a big fan of white sugar.

It depends on the cereal. I find most have enough sugar of their own but I pour it on Raisin Bran.

I put it on some cereals, like plain cheerios, and special K regular, but that's about it, oh and I put brown sugar in my oatmeal. My friend puts honey on almost all of his cereal, i think that's so gross hahaha

I did when I'd eat those huge shredded wheats or put some ehoney on them.

Only the hot cereal to make sure it is not too hot!

Depends what kind of cereal it is. I usually eat Wheaties so yes I put a little sugar on them.
-
Lol! Me too! My hubby thought it was very weird the first time he saw me do it. I was putting sugar in my rice crispies.
-
No, I don't.....I was also raised doing it .....later realized it is unnecessary.
-
there is already so much sugar in cereal, why would anyone need more?
-
I have NOT put sugar on my cereal in over 25 years ; no need to begin now ... AND: I do NOT eat these cereals that are "Sugar Coated" .. made especially for kids to keep them hyper and rot their teeth ...
-
I put sugar on only the non-sweetened cereals, (like plain Cheerios, Corn Flakes, Grape Nuts, etc.). If I have a banana laying around, I'll slice it up and put it in my Corn Flakes or Cheerios.
