A bill that hasn't had its number written down by the cops to trace crimes, usually drug dealers?
-
A bill that has no mark on it that can trace it back to the crime. Ink for example or chemicals that can prove that the money came from a certain place and taken in the robbery.

An unmarked bill is a bill that has not been given any additional identifying characteristic. All bank notes have serial numbers and other information printed on them. A marked bill is one which has some other type of stamp or mark on it to identify it as part of a group of bills. Banks often do this to bait money. It is sometimes done by the police to trace drug or ransom money.
