  • The artist is Tila Tequila...the work out song.
  • Offspring did a song about tequila, I'm not sure if it's the one you mean though.
  • "Tequila" is a 1958 surf instrumental by the band The Champs. The title of the song constitutes the entire lyrics and is said only three times. It went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Tequila" is popular amongst fans of the golden age of rock and roll, but was a one-hit wonder. I remembered the song, but had to look it up and found it in: Tequila (song) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search I think this is probably the one you are thinking of...and since I heard it as a kid, I knew it had to be a lot older...I heard it in the 60's 70's...lol

  • It sounds like you may be thinking of "Mas Tequila" by Sammy Hagar, off his Red Voodoo album from 1999.
  • G'day Papakanos, Thank you for your question. The song you are thinking of is Tequila by ALT and the Lost Civilization which was a hit for them in 1992. It had rap lyrics and sampled the original hit song by The Champs released in 1958. ALT was a Latin rapper born Al Trivette and the song was from his album Another Latin Timebomb released in 1991. I have attached sources for your reference. Regards References Wikipedia Tequila (song) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tequila_%28song%29 Wikipedia ALT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A.L.T. • Need help with a 'Tequila' song too... This particular one is instrumental and is usually played during the game 'Musical Chairs'. Recently I heard it on the Ellen Degeneres Show too, when they were playing Hawaii Musical Chairs. Also, in the Randhir Kapoor, Jaya Bhaduri-Bachchan Film 'Jawani Diwani' - there too they were playing the same game. I have listened to all the songs mentioned above, but it is not the same. Many thanks

  • Let me give you the definitive answer about who did the ORIGINAL song "Tequila". It was done in 1958 by The Champs.....and the sax work and the vocal was done by Danny Flores, also known as Chuck Rio. Yes it was the B-side to Train to Nowhere, but when that DJ flipped it and accidentally played the B-side, Tequila became the hit. How do I know this? Because Danny Flores was my Dad......affectionately known by me and my brothers and sisters as Pop. And we all miss him. But when his song comes on, then we feel his presence with us again. We love you, Pop.
  • Would it happen to be the East L.A. band Tierra?
  • terrorvision sang it in the 90's, me and a friend had a bet on this last night so i had to google it today. here are the song lyrics "Tequila" Ode to Jose the curse of Cuervo, So hard to say no though it gives one the fever, Pretends to be friendly, Then it's all over, over, It's all over, over, Pretends to be fine, Then the curse of Tequila, It makes me happy, Con Tequila it feels fine, Con Tequila when the doors are opened, And con Tequila when they're calling time, That's the curse of, Sierra sunrise and Margarita, They'll break your heart in the desert heat, Tell you you're thirsty, They'll tell you you're sober, sober, It's all over, over, They'll tell you you're fine, Then the curse of Tequila.... If there's a lot on your mind it's there to help you forget, To relax and rewind and leave behind the regret, First sip makes you well before you know it it's time, And you're saying to hell with the salt, lemon and lime, Salt, lemon and lime, time Tequila, That's the curse of Tequila.....
