But was the "Pulley" changed on the Alternator??? The "Drop in Speed" that occurs is just enough to not keep the pulley traction at a point of not "Slipping" causing the "Squeal". take the "Pulley" off & have it "Glass Bead Blasted" (fine Sand Blasting ok too). Belt dressing in a "Spray" can take the "Glazing" off the new belt from it's action against the Old Pulley. John

I agree with John, one of the pulleys is probably shot. Common pulleys with issues for this model are the water pump and alternator. If you take the belt off and try to rotate the pulleys, you might hear one "grinding" from worn bearings. Hope this helps, Bill.
