Of course they do. Don't you know anyone named "Josh" or Joshua? It is the same as Jesus. Jesus is the Romanized name for Joshua. And you are playing a game, aren't you Mr. Josh? (wink).

I think it's a cultural thing. Hispanics see it as a tribute to Jesus to name a child after them. Some see it as a name to be left only to Christ and not be used by others. I think both perspectives should be respected.

Joshua is one of the many names of Jesus in English. Yeshua-Joshua-Jesus.
