  • I won't do your homework for you but I want you to think this through. You have 40 mL with 50% (that's half is acid and half is water). So 20 mL and 20 mL. So if you know that 20mL/40mL is 50% than how much, assuming your acid stays the same, 20mL/X would be 10%? Once you know that you can use some simple subtraction (remove your initial water) to finish this out.
