I try but I always find it and spend it.
-
I wish I had some to hide - every dollar is spent before I even get it.
-
sometimes i have a little hiding
-
no i am afriad if i get robed soemone will tske it
-
Yes. We keep an amount of cash in the house for an emergency. (Like the power is out and you can't use your credit card, type of thing)
-
I used to not. I used to keep it all in my purse. I have a home health aid coming in 3 times a week to help me and since she's started coming in, money has been "mysteriously" disappearing so now, my money stays hid and I don't let my purse (credit cards) out of my site. I take it with me to the shower. Sad when people steal from you and they make more than you do.
-
Only when i know that someone is coming to visit. Some people are willing to give up their friendship for a dollar.
-
no...it's here but I don't hide it
-
I hide it in the bank, near the pens. Shhhhhhhh, don't tell anyone.
-
Money? What money? I barely have enough to pay the bills!
-
Not on purpose. It kind of hides itself when I forget where I put it. Sometimes I get lucky and find it again!
-
Yep. My father don't save money often, and neither he allows me. Every time I mass up some amount, he gets that from me for some purpose. No problem, but it worries he doesn't have the habit of putting up something in savings because its always gonna help you sometime later. So I always hide some amount and give it at the right time.
-
No, but it's not a bad idea considering the economy.
-
No, i have no reason to :)
-
No but I leave a $100 on the counter by the front door. It's the first thing someone would see if they ever broke in and they'd take. I'd know right away something was wrong if that money was moved/missing.
-
Not really..on one occasion we got a few hundred dollars and put it in an envelope in our file cabinet..just in case..you know at the end of 1999 when the world as we knew it was going to come to and end when all the computers simultaneously all over the world were going to have nervous breakdowns? Never happened, of course, so we dipped into our cash horde and soon it had disappeared. Another time many many years ago I faced eye surgery and my son came down from up north to help me for about a week. I took a few hundred dollars out of the bank in advance so he could have easy access to it during the time I was "recuperating". :)
-
No, I line the walls with it.
-
NO U CANT HIDE A MILLI!
-
No, I never have enough extra to worry about hiding it.
-
Yes. I hide a few coins and bills, so that I have something to use just in case I really need some money (and the bank is already closed).
-
I used to hide money around the house. Most of my money were in investments or banks but I had some money hidden for emergency and fast access. However, I had to take all of the hidden money out last year and this year due to emergencies and the falling of the stock market.
-
no, I LOSE money in my house....I wonder if there is any in this bag:
-
Nah, I just keep a few bucks in my wallet.
-
Seeing as I am broke the answer would be no. Unless you count a cup full of Canadian pennies.
-
No. The kids would surely find it. They have a better idea what I have than I do...
-
Yes sometimes. Not an amount to make it worth anyones trouble to tear up the house to find it though.
-
I hide a little bit for an emergency.
-
Yes, inside a fire safe. Does that count?
-
Money? What money?
-
Yes, it's hidden so well, I can't seem to find it.
-
Just a big old collection of spare change that is about $350. It's somewhat hidden in the corner behind an intersecting bookshelf and nightstand.
-
All over the place - in the pockets of my jackets, in my jeans, in moneyboxes under my bed, under my mattress, in bottles in the kitchen..and then when I'm really broke I go on a treasure hunt to find it again. Of course if I didn't hide it in the first place, I probably wouldn't be so broke..
-
YES
-
piggy bank !
-
yup, under my mattress!!!!
-
Yep.
-
Nope. I leave it on display. Booby trapped. (My lawyer tells me that I must explain that this may or may not be true)
-
Nope +5
-
Sometimes, but most of the time, it's just because I don't remember where I left it. I do leave money "hidden" at home and at work to see if there are any theives around that I need to confront or fire. : )
-
I keep very little cash on hand.
-
Yes, always
-
Yes I always keep a few hundred around just in case i need bail money or some other spur of the moment thing pops up unexpectedly. There's really no point in it now that we can get cash from 24 hour ATMs but at least I still have access to instant cash even if the electricity gos off.
-
everyone does hide some money
-
Yes, I always keep some cash on hand, but I never put all my eggs in one basket.
