  • Still do and I am now 31. I grew up on a farm and we owned several horses. I rode in shows when I was a teenager too. I currently own one horse right now but do not get hardly any free time to ride anymore. Horses are my favorite animals.
  • Always have,always will.
  • I doubt I even knew much about them, though I didn't grow up on or even near any farms or ranches. I didn't even like the book Black Beauty . . .
  • NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  • Very much so and i still do. I am fortunate to own some :)
  • Yes..still do :)
  • I did. Still do. I used to go horse riding regularly. Had to stop though because I am allergic to them. No such thing as antihistamines then. Or of there was, I wasn't given any. I may just take it up again and take my daughter along. Once I take an antihistamine that is.
  • i fed some horses when i was younger so yea i did and i still do =D
  • Yes, and I wanted a pony for Christmas. I'm still waiting.
  • oh yep, not sure if its a girl thing, but I sure wanted one, I rode for quite a while, then tried to 'rent' a horse, but my dad and mum didnt really have the money to sustain such a hobby , after a few weeks of owning the horse, I soon grew tired of the constant work, as well, a couple of falls didnt help my confidende! so the horse went back, and my desire to have one dwindled rapidly.....
  • Yes i loved them as a child.
  • Yess =] And I still do
  • I was pretty indifferent to them when I was little, until I rode the pony at the pumpkin patch when I was 7 and it bolted and threw me and the saddle fell on me and almost broke my leg :( I was really scared of them for a while, and to be honest riding them still makes me a little bit uneasy.
  • Yes and I also loved a donkey:):) My grandma had a donkey and horse..I am not really sure why:):)
  • I have loved horses for as long as i can remember, I had my first official lesson when i was 8 years old and i now am 24 years old and run a horse sanctuary in South Africa with 13 horses and 6 donkeys and they are all like my children :-) So i guess the short answer is YES!!! :-D
  • No, I hated horses. I actually hated them so much that I was very vocal about it, and, as stupid a reason as it is, that was why I was not very popular with the other girls in elementary school. I don't know why I hated them though....I just remember hating them. Weird.
  • I had a love/hate relationship with them. I loved our horses but I spent a lot of time walking them, feeding them, watering them, bathing them, brushing them, etc. when I would have rather been playing. I also felt no love for them when I was kicked, bitten or thrown. Most were gentle as can be, some were mean as hell. I guess it just depended on the horse. My favorite horse of all time was the best of my dad's many roping horses. Her name was Lady and she was by far the best of all, athletically and personality-wise. She had a a big heart in many ways. After she was retired we were going to let her have a colt only to find out she was barren, I was so very disappointed.
  • I hated horses as a child. I was too wierded out by the movement underneath the saddle.
  • Motorcycles! A sorta metallic horse?! ;-)
  • As a child I was interested in things that most boys would be interested in such as war games. As time went on and I turned around 10 or 11 and I randomly just started likeing horses. I am 15 now and have loved them ever sence. :D So my answer would be a no and a yes. :D
  • I have never liked horses other then to look at, we own four Tennessee Walkers for the wife and kids but I will never ride a horse. I don't enjoy it at all. Noe boating that's a whole different story.
  • Very much, still am. I wanted one as early as 4 years old. Finally got my first horse at the age of 8. Had them for many years until we moved away from our ranch in California where we bred Appaloosas and Quarter Horses. I miss them a lot!
  • Oh yes more than anything else....
  • Indeed I did, now I'm sad I have to wait so long before I can ride again :(
  • Yep! I used to rodeo when I was a kid. Barrel racing and pole bending! Fun fun! My parents used to own the Scottsdale saddle club, I have lots of experiences with horses when I was younger. I have not been on a horse now for at least ten years. I sure miss them!
  • Yes. I so appreciate now having grown up around animals and in the country. Thanks for asking...nice memories.
  • Yes and still do : )
  • Yes, still do. Parents thought I would grow out of it (yeah right..LOL) I begged them to death until age 11 when I finally got my first pony. I'm 36 & have never been without a horse. They are my passion.
  • So much! I wanted to own Black Beauty!
  • Yes and I still do!
  • Mr ED!
  • i loved to eat them
  • love is too mild a word for how i felt about horses as a child. i had a cork bulletin board that i kept plastered with pictures cut from magazines. i still love horses and riding is my most favorite leisure activity
  • No, but we had a cousin who loved sheep (we don't talk about him much yo...).
  • Yep Still Do
  • yes,was brought up beside a stable of clydesdale horses
  • Oh yes! I remember when I was 3 my parents borrowed one of those springy bouncy horses and I rode that thing constantly till I had to give it back. I remember pretending the arm of the couch was a horse, my bike was a horse, I myself was a horse.....I read about horses, drew horses, played with toy horses, and squealed with delight every time I saw a horse in a pasture as we drove past. ( I still do that sometimes) When I was 10 my dad, who had grown up with horses and loved them too, although I hadn't realized how much till then, bought us a paint filly. Then the next year, seeing how I really truly had horse fever incurably, he bought me my very own P.O.A. gelding and he was my best buddy. I still miss him, and my dad who passed away in 2003. 2 years ago I bought myself a horse of my own and she's my "therapy" when I go out and feed and groom her every day. I believe horses get in your blood and it's incurable!
  • Absolutely. I still have some of my childhood horsebacks somewhere, I loved to read them and dream about my own pony (which I never had)
  • Yes i was fortunate to be brought up with horses. And i still love them =]
  • I think i would if i had one. I love my dogs and cats as if they are my children (even tho im only 19 lol)
  • Yes, especially after reading "Black Beauty."
  • But OF COURSE! Still do....loved a Mule once too. Good old Jake, my Uncle's Mule...he was a very nice tempered Mule, but then Uncle Claude always had a horse or mule, (for plowing, even though he also had a tractor, he liked the four foots more), and since he loved them so much, they just loved everybody right back. Too bad for me I grew up in CA and Uncle Claude and his equines were in Durham, NC..not a frequent ride for me....
  • When I was little, horses were the only animal I was remotely afraid of. I loved snakes, rats, bugs, scorpions, whatever, but I was terrified of horses. I watched some horses get spooked and stomp a cat to death when I was around 5, so it sort of freaked me out because they were whinnying and freaking out and brutalizing this cat. Nowadays, though, I've gotten over it and I think horses are pretty cool.
  • i do love them still. but when i was nine i got bucked off but my foot was still in the stir up and i was dragged on a gravel road for a mile . i still have the scars to prove it.
  • Still do. I've had 4 and took care of another one. They are great animals.
  • It's against the law here, even if you're a child yo... ;)
  • For a short while. Until I fell off and the horse landed on me.
  • I fell in love with clydes dales because of the budweiser commercial and wher i lived.
  • i love them now but to visit i don't have the time or space to own one.
  • Yes! :D Hoping to get one soon!
  • Yes. I even wanted one for a pet - a Palomino like Mr. Ed. My parents, being wiser, knew the care involved and also my ambition level, so I never had one. Although they did take me once in a while to a nearby riding stable (Western style).
  • Yes! ... and still today ... we breed quarter horses.
  • I am a child, and I lllooovvee horses, I am 12, I ride my friends horses and do parelli, I am verry in to it.
