Sold something on ebay for 3 days no contact with buyer phone number was false so sent second chance offer and sold it now person who won it first emailed what do i do now?:(

Contact eBay about the problem. The users is required to complete the transaction immediately. Your proof that the email came back should protect you.

tell the first buyer that you attempted to contact him and he didn't reply and it was sold to someone else. Did your ad say that the buyer had 3 days to respond. If so than there is nothing he can do. He can file (and probably will) a complaint with ebay but if your ad said that, they will find in your favor. You could, on the other hand, send an inquiry to ebay customer service and see what they say.. or call them. Usually they will tell you that since the phone # is invalid, you had every reason to believe that the buyer would not come thru because they tell buyers to keep the info listed as valid. GL

You did everything right. You received no contact and the number provided wasn't right. So long as you refund any money the first buyer has sent you, you should be fine. It's their fault for not replying sooner and providing contact details that didn't work. You've done nothing wrong, so long as you don't keep any money from them.
