IF that were true, it would be hard to be disappointed since I would be dead.
-
Well obviously not.
-
i wouldn't know 'cause i'd be dead. but i think that is what happens when we die. i try to get the most out of my life.
-
Well, firstly, I wouldn't be disappointed because I'd have no consciousness. Secondly, no, because it's what I expect to happen. It makes the most sense, unfortunately.
-
It would be hard to be disappointed if there's 'nothing' :o)
-
I think I'd be more sad than disappointed.
-
No, I would not be disappointed, just dead.
-
Even if we knew for certain that our soul or spirit survives death, we wouldn't know whether emotions would survive. I don't think that they do.
-
No, because that's what I think will happen anyway.
-
Nope. There is a certain amount of freedom and peace in that notion.
-
By the time I find out it'll be a little late for disappointment.
-
Down-raters, (Christian Fundamentalists, of course) beware! I keep a red-hot pitch-fork by my side at all times just waiting to take a jab. Lots of lolo;)
-
I wish I could say I'd feel vindicated that I was right, but I'd be dead, so who cares?
-
Big 'if', but the answer is obvious. No.
-
Nah, screw it, it's over anyway.
-
I should be, I've been stiffed! I think I will just lie there and (de)compose a complaint letter.
-
How could I be anything - by your criterion I am no more.
-
I don't see any reason to think that is not the way it will happen.
-
Death trumps disappointment, no?! ;-)
-
That's exactly what I expect death to be.
-
See, that's the beauty of it. I wouldn't be much of anything, would I?
-
As that's what I'm expecting will happen, then, no, I wouldn't be disappointed.
