Yes and I would make sure to call the school and let them know so there is no repeat.

Yes, and I would make damn sure that no good teacher would dearly pay for that mistake.
-
Yes, I would be up at that school having a meeting with her and the principle.

All the red flags are going up. That is abusive and unacceptable. Your child was sick. The teacher exercised judgment that was not in the best interest of you or your child. When your child is sick, the immunity is lowered and the illness will get worse and worse. The other kids were being exposed to illness. As soon as a child vomits, the parent must be called... period. I would be ballistic that someone else would dare decipher *how* sick my child was.

The principal of the school needs to know the risk of being sued for negligence. If your child is sick you should be notified immediately. Period.

Complain and go over her head at once! She's not the parent of your daughter, she has no right to say that your child was not allowed to call you! I don't have children and even I'M outraged!
-
hell yes .. they should have called you on her behalf.

Go to the school! That's rediculous! lol tell your daughter next time it happens to puke on her teachers shoes or desk! HA! My brother had a math teacher who was awful. He asked her to explain to him how to do a problem, and she said I'm not here for that, that's what your book is for! Needless to say, when i got to highschool the principal knew who my mom was lol!
