Not a lot, but some. I think its less intrusive than the phone, and more private in that others can't overhear. And conversely, you don't have to listen to the other person's 6 kids fighting with each other! jk. I didn't know anyone thought texting was a teen thing. I think its an efficiency thing. I'm over 60.
