Does anyone miss TRUE punk rock--not skinny tie new wave, or sexpistols rich kid complaining-but the real deal: Black Flag, Minutemen, Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks, name your poison if you too miss the true music and lets bring it back?

I prefer Bad Religion and a little Alkaline Trio, but as far as punk is concerned, it's a dying genre with good reason.

Yes, I miss the good old days. Unfortunately contrary to the popular T shirts -- Punk IS dead.

It's dead, and has been ivolved. I like the Clash, Ramones, Dead Kennedys but lots of other stuff too, Alkaline trio, Dropkick Murphys, Mighty Mighty Bosstones (although they are cross genres)

Not really. I love Rollins and will admit that Black Flag had some great lyrics, but the delivery was awful. I personally can't stand most punk at all. There is no musical quality to it that I can see.
