Any reason why the orang utan drinks its own urine as seen in the You tube?

There are many possible reasons. Most are very mild and not overly intelligent. There are a few intelligent possibilities, and the one that stands out in my mind could be: 1- urine contains natural amonia, and the orangutan may in fact recognize that naturally. It may be using this to clean its teeth of rot.
