  • As a connoisseur of fine breads, and a person who has baked countless breads, I must say that I have never heard of "banook bread". The only reference I was able to find to banook on Wikipedia, was a lake by that name in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Then add the baking powder, salt and the currants or raisins. Once this is done, add the water and work the ingredients into a dough.
