No. The terminal velocity (ie the fastest the coin could get to with the speed of gravity and air resistance taken into consideration) is not high enough to kill a human. Unless ofc that human was very unlucky and got hit in the eye and died of shock.

I think Mythbusters busted this one.

It's not enough to kill somebody, but OUCH. that would hurt like hell. and if the person saw it hit them, they might get a shock injury. It probably wouldn't be enough to murder somebody, but a coin from that height would be extremely injurious.

Everything will eventually fall at the same speed no matter how far it has to go before it is stopped, theoretically anyway. Air resistence can be a factor too, of course. Maybe if you dropped a bowling ball it would kill someone, but that's only because it's a bowling ball, not because it fell for a long time.

Nope. It would smart a bit though. Look up terminal velocity.

Of course it would what curly haired idiot would disagree?
-
No....;)
-
Even if it won't, you really shouldn't throw junk off buildings.
-
Nope - you need something heavier and maybe more aerodynamic. Try a plumb-bob. I am, of course kidding... ;_)
