Cute is like the girl who is a bit more normal, normal build (either healthy-thin or a little chubby), normal (or fair) skin, hair varies from average to great, maybe a little shy and a smile that could melt the heart of the toy soldier (it's an old story, get some culture people :-) ). But the biggest difference of all is that guys will look at the hot chick and some of us may do their cat calls and what-have-you, but when he's alone, he thinks about the cute girl... or maybe that's just me.

i always hear from guys (nice, players, jocks, etc) that they'd rather have a cute girl than a hot girl because a hot girl has a higher chance of leaving them for a hotter guy and relationships with them don't last too long.. so they'd rather stick with a cute girl that they can hold onto for a while... most of the guys that told me this were actually man whores and players.. is this any true to men in general?

That is totally controlled by the gal. If she acts, dresses, and personifies cute she's cute. If she changes her look and demeanor and parades herself as a hottie we pick up on that. One major factor obviously is she has to have some type of God given natural looks but many a time gals have pulled it off with just a few costume or cosmetic changes. Pleeze don't stuff! We like natural and bouncy free. That's a great turn on and gives guys the impression you're comfortable and confident with your looks.
