Often whenever i dont know how to spell something or I dont know what the word means
-
Daily...I am always finding new words to look up!
-
Not very often. Once a week maybe. But I dont use a book. I use dictionary.com. :)
-
On average, once a day.
-
Daily..we have a large unabridged dictionary on a special side table that is always open ..Jim and I use it to verify spelling of words..sometimes to understand the meaning of a word used on television or a word we come across while we are reading.
-
Often. I can't stand it if I hear or see a word that I do not understand.
-
Probably daily or at least 5-6 days a week. I hear words, read words, research things and I just want things clarified.
-
Hardly ever nowadays. The spellcheck works just as well.
-
check my previous posts and you will get an excellent idea.
-
it;s good to clarify meaning but spell check handles most spelling needs.
-
Check my spelling on some answers and youll know.
-

Practically everyday, especially when I'm on AB. But I use online dictionaries. This is my favorite: http://www.merriam-webster.com/
-
Lol. Never Probably why my spelling is so horrid
-
never..i do check a thesaurus (that is how you spell that right? lol) to check for similar words though
-
A *paper* dictionary? Not very often. I usually google it or use an integrated spell check.
-
Sometimes the word doesn't look right,so I use the dictionary or the spell check, and sometimes I have got it right and other times wrong.
-
Every time I come across a word I don't know. Either online or a paper dictionary I look it up. Its good to build vocabulary.
-
I don't remember the last time I did that. My internal spell check is quite good, though when I doubt myself, I usually open up a word document, type the word out, and do a right click to see how good I really am. I hate being right!
-
i don't. My computer has spellcheck and so does this site by the way.
-
Often, even if I am correct many times I lack confidance and still will consult. That being; I may still fail to utilize enough.
-
I'm constantly checking my spelling in here. When I don't know a word, I Google it in a second browser that I keep open to the google.com homepage. I usually get my meanings for words from wikipedia.com. For me the dictionaries in book form are a thing of the past.

every time I have a new word to add to ab's dictionary
