Smell, though I believe they enhance each other so I think if you lost smell you would loose a good amount of your tasting abilities...I have no idea what Im talking about do I?

I could live without either or both, I just wouldn't enjoy it much. Although, taste and smell are so intertwined that losing your sense of touch would render food almost entirely tasteless. So if I had to pick one, I suppose losing taste alone would be less of a blow.

Taste. I need my sense of smell. I use it all the time. But taste is only for things up close. Besides, flavour relies heavily upon smell, so it's not as if I'd be totally ignorant when it came to food.
