  • Oooh, gee, I don't know...I probably would not. It really depends on how bad we're talking here...
  • Depends on the person. Sometimes crooked teeth and gaps are really cute. I wouldn't date them if they have nasty decayed teeth from not taking care of themselves.
  • I had a date with this really cute girl, way back when. Her breath was okay. The only problems was she either forgot to put on deodorant or had a perspiration problem....big time. Killed the moment and killed any future dating. Whew..........
  • That would be a huge turn off since kissing is so crucial to dating. I would have to pass on miss gutter stench mouth.
  • i have but, was not a big turn on..thought it would not bother me but, it did. No, think i understand why people like nice teeth now. SMILE!!! With bad teeth usually comes bad breath..but, i do not judge them by it. Some people can not afford to fix them.
  • well my s/o his teeth are straight but has bad teeth from a really bad past but he has the sexiest smile that i just love so his teeth dont bother me, but its something hes real insecure about. i wouldnt date someone with braces though
  • Never, I'm obsessed with teeth, I know it is to some extent genetic but I really cannot see myself dating someone with perio disease or really bad oral hygiene.
  • yeah I don't judge someone by their teeth
  • No, I wouldn't date someone with bad teeth. I do not respect people who do not take care of themselves. Nowadays, with all that progress in dentistry, it's a shame to have problems with teeth. Of course it's expensive, but nothing can stop a person who REALLY WANTS to do something.
  • never because me and them wouldnt look good together in pictures when the person smiles and they're breathh would probably smell really badd
  • I was totally infatuated with this guy 2 years ago, I have to admit his teeth were awful, but my god, I would have done anything to date him at the time, Probably still would now.
  • Yeah, I think so. It's not really something I seek out or anything though.
  • I love smiles.. give me a guy who smiles a great smile and I love it but I will not lie and say I would get with someone whose mouth was torn down but I would hope that if I were single and met a guy with bad teeth I would work with him to get them taken care of. My guy had to have three screwed in from a really bad wreck and for the time he did not have them.. it was a different sight but I loved him no matter what.
  • I don't mind.
  • Depends what you mean by "bad teeth" Bad teeth as in "born with a snagletooth that is charming in it's own way"? --If I really liked him I probably wouldn't even noticed the ol' snagletooth, so of course I'd give him a shot! Bad teeth as in "my teeth are rotting out of my head because I can't even prectice the most findamental of dental hygiene practices"? --I absolutely would not. Because that's just gross.
  • Yes and if they were very bad, I would encourage her to see a dentist.
  • I'm glad you asked this question! I was just thinking about this one like 5 minutes ago! Lol! But my answer is I would not date someone with teeth problems that could have been prevented, but a person with a crooked tooth is a different story! I have a couple of crooked teeth!
  • Yes, as long as he brushed them and took care of them. Some people have bad dental "genes" and some people have teeth go bad from medicines or medical problems.....
  • How bad? Like Arkansas bad? lol jk
  • Ever since I wore braces as a teen, I've been very aware of people's teeth, so no.
  • Actually, no. This could be a sign of a person on crack cocaine or meth. Both decay human teeth.
  • Bad Teeth usually results in bad breath. So no, i dumped my last boyfriend because of bad breath...i don't think there is anything worse.
  • I did once and it was gross. He had all this yucky stuff on his teeth and I don't think he brushed them very often. I don't mind crooked teeth or if somebody has got a lot of fillings but brown or black teeth or lots of untreated tartar is more offputting than I could really cope with. It's sad but true.
  • define bad, are we talking stained from smoking or coffee drinking or just nasty rotten crotch mouth
  • As others have said, it depends what you mean by bad. If you mean they just look a little crooked, or maybe have a chipped tooth or something, then yes I would, but if you mean dirty, black, uncared for teeth then no, I would not.
  • Some people lose their teeth for medical reasons, so yes I would.
  • Yes, and I married him. A few years at the dentist, he has a healthy mouth, I have a great husband.
  • Why are their teeth bad? If it is a medical condition, no problem. Did they not take care of thier mouth? Then no, I wouldn't.
  • I just can't do it. That is so important to me.
