Yes, but why on earth would you WANT to???
-
Im sure its possible but I dont hink I would try it. I would be thinking of their overall safety.
-
You can, but it's not a very safe way to take a baby anywhere.
-
omg ofcourse not
-
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats is stupid, dangerous and illegal i realy hope this q is a joke,i'm not being harsh just blunt.
-
Yes but it's not something I would ever do.
-
I'd invest in a sidecar if you are planning on doing such a thing... I've seen babies on bicycle adapted seats but I think even that is a little risky. I'm not sure of the legalities of it, I think it's best you would check with your department of motor vehicles.
-
I would never consider putting a baby (or child) on a motorcycle. There is just not enough protection between them and the pavement. People also tend to not "see" motorcycles until they have run over them.
-
If anyone were to do this, I think it would be grounds to take that person out and give them death by firing squad.
-
In utero, only please! In many states the Child Safety Restraint Laws by virtue of requiring a certified child safety seat installed securely and properly will make this illegal.
-
Yes. I give my wife a wild ride on the motorbike all the time!
-
Maybe in a papoose backpack
-
If you're Hagrid, maybe...
-
The only way I could see this being even close to legal would be in a sidecar in a properly secured child seat. But I kinda doubt it.
-
if you are in thailand it's common practice to carry several babies on a motorbike...
-
Hell to the no!!!!
-
It is not illegal. However it would be very stupid for a person to do.
-
It would be kind of awkward. Better to tie one end of a string around it's foot and the other to the back of the motorcycle.
-
you could but i wouldnt do it - i am sure it is against the law in every state of the union
-
Im thinking if you ask this question then you will be to dumb to ride a motorcycle
-
Only if you are Michael Jackson
-
Maybe if you put them in a side car or something. But I'm thinking even that's probably a little iffy.
-
I wouldn't try it. In California, they need a helmet and the correct size "car" seat. Umhum.
-
It's not a question of if you can. Legally, hell no, but you can if you want it's your free will, but don't be surprised when you get your baby taken away from you for good, you get arrested, and put in a mental hospital. These are all things that will happen to you if you ever DID carry a baby on a motorcycle.
-
No, because an infant cannot be fitted with a helmet. And if it could, the helmet alone, without having an accident would cause neck injury by its weight
-
STUPID QUESTION FROM A STUPID PERSON!!!!!!!!!
-
Probably, but I wouldn't recommend that anyone try it! It's way too dangerous... There's just not enough protection!
-
I would seriously consider it in a life and death situation.
-
of course you can carry a baby on a bike. but, its depend on how ur mental and thinking skills works... About the safety, the life...... yes, you can carry baby on a bike, no problem for a idiot and short think type of person.
-
yes you can but it could shake the baby
-
No, each state has an age limit as a passenger. In most states it is 10-12.
-
You can carry up to 4 babies on a bike if you have saddle bags, a tank bag, and a tail case. You might be able to tuck another one in the fairing up by the bars, and one in a back pack... so maybe 6. If you get pulled over, let them wander into traffic ala Swee' Pea, and the cop will be so busy collecting them he will not notice your quiet escape.
-
I'm living proof a baby can survive a motorbike. I was born in the UK in the 50's. We were still in rationing. Cars were unattainable. My father had a Squariel with a chair (translation: Ariel Square 4 100cc bike with a sidecar). I often rode in the chair. There were never any incidents. His approach was to assume all cars were out to get him - but they had to make it look at least partly his fault.
-
Never.
-
It is illegal to do so in the states but in some 3d world countries people has no recourse but to do so....
-
I know it is possible as that was our first family 'car' back in the 50s. My parents only had a motorbike, a Matchless. I understand that my mom would hold me in her arms and we'd go about that way when I was very little and then when I could sit, I'd be in the gas tank with my dad holding me in place. I lived to tell about about lol!!! But it's really not a wise thing to do, unless it would be in a sidecar with a person sitting in that. It's just too risky, especially in this crazy dangerous world.
-
Yes, and a pig too
-
Only 3 states have a passenger age restriction. Hawaii prohibits passengers under 7 years old. Louisiana and Washington prohibit passengers under 5 years old.
-
Not I
-
Im sure Brittney and Jamie Lynn spears can?
-
Why would you want to do that?
-
Are you fucking kidding me. Why in Gods name would anyone want to carry a baby on a motorcycle.
-
NO! I ride a Harley and I wouldn't even take my 19 year old grandaughter on it!
-
no +5
-
No I think that is illegal in the U.S. not sure about anywhere else.
-
yes you can in many different ways i have a harly as my only form of transportationand i ride year round everywere i have had friends tell me about bungeing their kids to the sissy bars I know 2 kids about 7or8 who have more time on abike than most grownmen I've seen guys get ticketed and even arested for putting their kids on their gas tank and riding around. most states hav anage limet for passingers and by law no passinger can be in front of the driver
-
Obviously none of you who answered "no" have ever been to Vietnam. We live in Ho Chi Minh and it is common practice to see a baby on a bike, even a whole family! Best count so far is 5 people! Hell, the Government even have a standard issue cane high chair as the approved saftey device - it straps to the front somehow. And I've not (yet) seen a serious accident - the traffic is chaotic but the speed is not excessive and everyone expects the worst - it just seems to work.
-
Only if its a zx-14r traveling at full speed.
