Oh get over it. We pay £1.095 per litre. Not doing the conversion, but that is WAY over $6 per US gallon.
-
It is already about $8 per US gallon in the UK
-
My guess is sometime just before July 4 because that's when gas prices usually take off from the launching pad for their summer apex. ;)
-
I think that sometime in mid August gas prices in the U S will rise above $4.00 a gallon.
-
Less than one. I saw it at $3.89 today.
-
Should have been more specific so as not to offend our European friends who always think they have it so rough. FWIW, I think we'll see $4/gallon June/July timeframe in the high cost areas. For Virginia Beach, probably Sep timeframe.
-
I've actually seen it over $4.
-
I paid $3.79 this morning, so I one month or less.
-
Pretty darn soon. Not to mention that we are going to switch to the 'summer blend' that doesn't last very long.
-
Definably by Fall.

hi sara, babieeeee, for chicago, probably 3-4 months from now .... cheapest is $3.30's / gallon. http://www.chicagogasprices.com/

I predicted $8 a gallon gasoline in the U.S. after Hurricane Katrena when several of the few refineries in the U.S. got taken off-line and our approach to the War on Terriorism became common knowledge. Not a stock caller or political pundit-but made money.

Are you talking about regular or premium? Premium is almost there.

I live in a coastal tourist trap town. I can't wait for August. :(

Here in Peru gas is very cheap, I don't remember how much it is but truly under many other neighboring countries. What is really scary is the exchange rate, December last it was 3.80 New Soles to 1 US$. Now it is 2.56 per 1 US$, the devaluation rate is horrifying. Regards.

mid summer
-
Till the end of May. Gas prices always go up around Memorial Day weekend.
-
No earlier than 18 months.
-
we're already there for Premium. (Eastern Long Island, NY)
-
Not long! In Southern Indiana it is $3.45.

Roseburg Oregon. $4 a gallon would be a bargain. We range from a low of $4.27 to high of $4.65 per gallon. $5 is coming soon. My sources say to prepare for gas in the $12 to $15 per gallon range. That should hit within 2 years.

Unfortunately I'm addicted to gas regardless of price. It's 27 miles to shopping, doctors and work and the only routes either the freeway or over terrain and tresspassing private properties. I don't feel at ease afoot or on a bike competing with semis and trucks doing 80 MPH (and there is no extra side lane on any of 14 bridges). I suppose I could move closer, but the $300,000+ price tags on houses would be a problem. I think some sort of program should be started to compensate drivers to and from work, school, medical appointments. I pretty much exclude myself. My driving is almost entirely discretionary. I go to town once or twice a month. I am driving just over 100 miles per month and using between 4 and 5 gallons. I think practically everyone as cut back on driving, driving slower, resort to alternate transportation. Time something is done to prevent job losses and other economic damage. Many neighbors have lost jobs due to reduced hours, layoffs and the fact that, after gas expenses they are making under $5 an hour. When gas hit $4.17, I gambled it would go down. 1/3rd tank remaining, I hope it will. But just may be facing $5 a gallon.

It hit $4.06 on July 3rd, 2008 here in Kansas City.
-
Any day now...it was $3.99 yesterday in Harrisonburg, VA.
-
It is now over $4 where I live.
