How many days of work does the average full time employee miss?

I think it's only 2 or 3 days a year. That you're supposed to call in sick anyways. When I worked full time this sounds about right.

Where I work we get 6 sick days!! But most of them use them all up during tax time!! One chic called in 15 times last year!! But I think the average is about 3.

I don't ever call in to work. Some of my co-workers call in all the time (1-2 times per month for some of them). But the average here is about 6-8 times per year.

I use up all the days I'm allowed to miss. I get 5 sick days, 1 floater day and 10 days of vacation

I have had perfect attendance at my work for the last 6 years. And I am 78. I don't understand why young people today have to take time off from work and expect to get paid for it.
