  • I have a 360 and it hasn't burnt out for me. Maybe your fan isn't working or something, the 360 is like a working computer and it produces a lot heat and needs air to cool it. I would agree with standing it on a side or something so it can breathe better

  • if u have the core, the 360's fan isnt that great and overheats fast and if the 360 is sparking in the back were one of the plugs would be it might be because one of the wires got shaken quite a bit,thats what happend to my xbox, but it would probably be best to go buy a fan or take the 360 back and get them to fix it or give u a new 360
  • i actually heard that standing it up-right makes the drive die faster. if you put it on a hard surface, lying on its side, it lasts the longest. If you think its still overheating, definitely invest in an extra cooling fan but make sure you research what you buy because some products suck
