  • One century ago Taylor's industial organisational pattern and Ford's vision of mass market were put together to set up a new model of society based on high productivity, high growth rates, high productivity, full employment and state regulations. From the seventies, the model shows some wearing effect of time. Organisations have had to adapt to new customers trends, i.e. more choice, more products, more service. They also had to face giant competitors and giant markets. Therefore they needed to change their organisational model. Quality, clusters, worldwide web, permanent change, innovation became master words instead of production line, hierarchy and longlife jobs.
