Yes, very much so. She is cranky fairly often due to pain from failed back surgery and I try to keep things upbeat but it's not easy.

Most defiantly. It's hard to live with someone who has frequent down moods. It will effect your own mood. I try to have friends away from home who a up beat. It helps nutralize my home situation.

Though i do acknowledge accept and sometimes reflect his mood..I no longer live according to and as a result of his mood. It took me a long time and a lot of stress before i fully realized that i am a person within my own right. I can still be me and be in control of me .. regardless of his thoughts. moods and actions.
