A local TV News/Sports broadcast ... the 1963 Europa Grande Prix ... they had a scaffold with a TV camera accross the street from our house in Zweibruken, Germany ... I could look at the TV and see myself standing at the window ... as a four year old, I was both amazed at the fast cars and excited to see myself and our house on TV. __________ When the Elvis movie, "Occupation G.I. Blues" came out, you could again see our house over the shoulder of Elvis as he sang, "Wooden Heart" ...

Wow tis is a good question but a lot tougher than it sounds for an old fart with a bad memory. And did you mean first run stuff or reruns? Probably Sesame Street, The Electric Company and Captain Kangaroo were some of the first things I watched.

Kookla, Fran & Ollie. It was one of the earliest children's shows on television. I also remember with great fondness The Howdy Doody Show and Uncle Miltie.
