• disconnect the battery. Drain the fuel tank and drop the tank. You can only access the fuel pump from the top of the fuel tank due to it being a in tank fuel pump.
  • i have some more words of advice about this as far as draining the fuell tank goes it just might be easier to get somebody to help you depending on how full the tank is that could turn out to be more of a pain in the ass than its worthbut yeah as far as the rest of it goes he is pretty much spot on except getting the ring that holds in the whats called sending unit can be tricky and i recomend using a BRASS punch to avoid sparks
